Opposing Delrin jaws are dual grooved to cradle the metal and plastic components on both the horizontal and vertical axis, minimizing the risk of slipping and scratching the lens. One jaw pivots to compensate for base curve so the post and tubing compress in unison. Opens extra wide for thick lenses.
